Disable WordPress theme and plugin editor

Yeah, you can disable theme and plugin editor. Sometimes special ability is one of those luxury you wished you didn’t had. One of those special ability is having the power to edit plugins and or themes of WordPress. I have faced this issue when one of my clients decided to DIY and removed a piece of php code with html or even css. I should not name any names but RON that was a very funny thing you did. Okay now jokes aside. Here is what you should do to stop people form doing bad things to their own sites. Add the following code to the wp-config.php file.

define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true);

Thats it! 🙂 its easy right? but not that easy if you didn’t find it. Take care my friends. Happy coding 😉
